In 2018, musician Ben Weaver gave up his dream of playing sold-out venues in exchange for one that had much more value: he’d travel by bike along the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from Canada to the U.S.-Mexico border. Weaver’s songs convey a message of unity with one another and our environment. Music for Free, from filmmaker Keenan Desplanques, highlights the artist’s reflections while traveling and a few select performances he made while on the road.
