A discussion about COVID, the healing power of the outdoors, and equity. Amidst COVID’s many disruptions, people of all backgrounds are finding solace and rejuvenation by reconnecting to nature. But with this trend, we’re also discovering the inequities in access to greenspace, as well as the challenges nonprofits and land agencies have in closing those gaps – especially during the pandemic. REI’s CEO Eric Artz discusses this dynamic with two BIPOC leaders from the outdoor community – Lucienne Nicholson from Inclusive Woods and Us, and Marcos Trinidad from LA’s Audubon Center at Debs Park.
